Brew Wharf - Stoney St, London, SE1 This beer based bistro is the latest addition to the Vinopolis complex, complementing - and sharing a kitchen with - its neighbour Wine Wharf. The brainchild of Trevor Gulliver of St John's and Firestation fame, Brew Wharf takes as its inspiration Alsatian bistro cooking, prepared with all British ingredients sourced exclusively from the famous Borough Market across the street. Brew Wharf boasts its own microbrewery producing the bar's two real ales; one made entirely with Fuggles hops and the other with Goldings, a nod towards the nearby Hop Exchange which made Borough synonymous with Kentish hops. Meantime supply the remainder of the beers - including the bottled imports. Our draught beers on sale at Brew Wharf include our Cologne Style Lager, our Union (Vienna Style Lager), our Wheat Beer and our ever popular Raspberry Wheat Beer. Meantime are immensely pleased to be at Brew Wharf. Borough Market visitors are exactly the sort of people Meantime wish to reach - people who are interested in food, flavour and provenance - whilst Stoney Street must, by any measure, rate of as one of the most vibrant and happening locations in London, and, therefore, by implication, the universe. |
