Beer wins on Hairy Bikers !
The Hairy Bikers continue their culinary journey of British Food and in this episode explore how our relationship with beer has developed over the centuries. Alastair Hook, Founder and Brew Master of Meantime takes beer head to head with wine in a food matching session.Meantime have been at the forefront of championing beer and food matching for many years. The Hairy Bikers visited us to learn more about the endless possibilities of matching craft beer with food.
Alastair took the team on a journey through the beer and food story, culminating in a showcase dining event at our restaurant, The Old Brewery in Greenwich where a hand picked Supper Club were entertained and asked to vote on whether the beers picked by Alastair or the wines picked by Master of Wine Tim Atkin best complemented the dishes served.
