Meantime and Wagamama get together

What happens when you put the head of all things food for Wagamama Steve Mangleshot, and our Brewmaster Ciaran Giblin in a room together?

You get two exciting new beers, made to pair perfectly with the cracking Japanese and Asian inspired menu at Wagamama! Welcome Kikku and Kansho to the table… two pale ales with a difference.

First up is Kansho, a 4.5% ABV ginger and lime pale ale. It’s zingy and refreshing, and perfect for the warmer months on the way. We’ve added slightly sweet, slightly sour lime and warming fiery ginger to a classic Pale Ale blend of malt and hops that’ll mean ‘just having one’ is never going to happen. We recommend you enjoy the Kansho alongside Wagamama’s Chicken Katsu Curry, or Lollipop Prawn Kushiyaki.

Next up we have the fiery Kikku at 4.3% ABV. This Japanese shichimi spiced pale ale will really get your taste buds going. We worked with the creative development chefs at Wagamama to give our classic pale ale a spicy twist, leaving a gentle heat on the palate. We’ve added the complex, seven-spiced oriental schichimi to balance and complement the fresh tropical fruit flavours of the Cascade and Centennial hops. The contrast of hop and heat gives this beer a real zing and refreshing bite. Best paired with the Bang Bang Cauliflower, Tori Kari Age and crowd fave the Wagamama Ramen.
