Meantime Pilsner, like all the world’s great lagers, is the product of long cold fermentation and maturation and gets all the time it needs for the flavour to develop and ripen. The use of selected Pilsner malt gives it a pale straw colour, and the authentic German hops contribute complex pine and spice flavours and a crisp, elegant bitterness.
The hops used in our Meantime Pilsner go great with stronger flavours like mature cheeses, hams, smoked meats and oily fish.

This Meantime Pilsner-marinated pork belly from Adam Gray of the Great British Chefs makes a triumphant treat for the barbecue, but it can also be chargrilled in a pan if the weather is rubbish. Dandelion leaves add a nice level of bitterness to the plate and can be easily foraged.
