Summer Festival Round-Up

Here’s a list of where you can find us pouring cold pints in fields soon!

SECRET GARDEN PARTY 20th – 23rd July
Tell me about it: The first biggie of the season and the clue is in the name… ‘Party’. We’re pretty gutted that it’s the final instalment of this awesome festival, but in true SGP style, it’s vowing to go out with a bang! Not for the faint hearted, SGP is a hedonistic wonderland. Think colosseums made from hay bales, 25,000 revellers in full themed (fame and celebrity this year), organised mud wrestling, a dance-off arena, giant statues and the legendary ‘Pagoda’ which is a floating stage on the lake, and a massive paint fight to cap off the shenanigans on the Sunday.
Most Important: We’ll have our London Pale Ale, Yakima Red and seasonal release Fool’s Gold pouring on the Beer Tank Bar. Keep your eyes peeled for our slightly smaller Half Pint truck which’ll be pitching up at random locations serving ice cold bottles of our London Lager. The 24 Hour bar will be pouring loads of our beer on tap too.

STANDON CALLING 27th – 30th July.
Tell me about it: Standon is one of the first festivals we ever went to, and still holds a special place in the festival calendar. Following the trend for festivals that started in someone’s back garden, Standon does the whole big-but-still-small thing better than anyone else – the owner even opens his personal swimming pool to festival goers who are keen to cool off. The theme this year is Tales of the Enchanted Valley and with Clean Bandit, Grace Jones and Orbital leading a stellar line-up, the stage is set for yet another cracking weekend.
Most Important: Our Beer Tank will be on the hill overlooking the main stage, so there’s no better place to get in on the action with a pint of Brewery Fresh Pale Ale, straight from the tanks. We’ll have the Yakima and Fool’s Gold on tap too and our London Pale Ale will also be pouring across all the main bars. Basically what we’re getting at is… there’s no reason you should be drinking anything but good beer at Standon!

WILDERNESS 3rd – 6th August
Tell me about it: It’s easy to summarise Wilderness really, it’s simply one of the best festivals you’ll ever go to. There’s gourmet everything, including beer (that’s us!) and grub. Here’s a few more reasons to snap up a ticket pronto: long-table banquets, the UK’s best street food, secret woodland parties, a pop-up spa, hip hop karaoke, a lake for swimming, theatre, performance, talks and debates, comedy, dance workshops, wild costume parties in The Valley, naked cricket (it’s hilarious, take our word) and a croquet tournament. Not to mention Two Door Cinema Club, Bonobo and good old Grace Jones who’s racking up some miles on the festival circuit this year.
Most Important: Put your feet up in the shade by the Beer Tank whilst enjoying a Brewery Fresh Pale Ale, Fool’s Gold or a Yakima Red. We’ll also be hosting beer talks and tastings all weekend at the Tank bar. Just rock up, buy a beer and put your name down. You can also find our beers pouring at notorious party spot The Peacock Bar, and at the Wilderness Arms too!

Tell me about it: If we’re still alive and kicking after the above come September, we’ll be at OnBlackheath – one of London’s best festivals, just up the hill from our Brewery. With an eclectic line-up including Travis, The Libertines, Metronomy and De La Soul, there’s something to please even your fussiest of pals. Good food and beer can be hard to come by at some* festivals, but the biggest problem you’ll have here is choosing! *We don’t attend such festivals

Most Important: We’re proud to still be the only beer pouring at OnBlackheath, so there’s no threat of going home thirsty. The Beer Tank will be pouring our Brewery Fresh Pale Ale from the tanks on board, plus a selection of our limited edition seasonal beers. We’ve got the main bars covered too, they’ll be serving up the usual suspects – our London Lager and London Pale Ale.

Tell me about it: Last, but far from least is Festival No.6 – a festival unlike any other in our books. The trophy cabinet is at bursting point for this amazing music, arts and culture festival, located in the surreal coastal home of Portmeirion, Wales. The main stage is a Mediterranean-inspired, Grade II-listed fantasy village, surrounded by estuaries, mountains and woodlands. During the festival, the village and surrounding woodlands come alive with secret gigs and DJ sets, talks, comedy, and a magical torch-lit procession ritual. Naturally, there’s also hot tubs, yoga, stand up paddle boarding, and an amazing ‘Saturday night spectacle’. You’ll have to check out the line-up for yourself, there’s just too many great artists to mention here.
Most Important: We’ll be pouring our London Pale Ale, Yakima Red and Fool’s Gold. Everything is still a bit top secret for this one so we can’t tell you exactly where to find us yet. Follow us on social and all will be revealed in good time!

The world's first mobile phone call was made on April 3, 1973 when Martin Cooper, a senior engineer at a now well-established phone brand, called a rival telecommunications company and informed them he was speaking via a mobile phone.
